RULES
Pick 5 winners, based on point spread, from the above list of posted games.
Send me a PM with your 5 selections by 5:00 pm (eastern) on Thursday. No exceptions.
A tie or push equals a loss.

Week 6 was an aberration and some how Sam, the intern in charge of the Pickem College Football Pool, inadvertently recorded the opposite picks for dubbs and I. She has been fired. To make up for last week's mess, dubbs personally guarantees that he will go 5-0 in Week 7, including our WAC game of the year and our non-conference game of the month for October. Stayed tuned in. Selections will be posted on Thursday evening.

I know Im not the only one who saw the brawl between Miami and FIU. They're really setting a good example for south Florida...

It's a bad day in the swamp for Shrek!!! 0-4...UNLV may be my only saving grace for the day.

Never mind...UNLV up 28-14 at the half loses in OT. Shrek goes 0-5 for the weekend!!!

I would take a loss to Indiana any day of the week then to watch my football team behave like a bunch of morons like those two schools.

Here is a clip plus some more moronic comments by Lamar Thomas (ex-Hurricane) around the 1:50 mark and 3:00 mark. Real professional.

Just learned that FIU is about 9 miles from the University of Miami Hurricanes campus. Larry Coker called the incident disgraceful, and from what I've read, there are 8 University of Miami players suspended.

Nothing but thugs on the field and in the booth. I think administrators at both schools need to evaluate the coaching staffs and seriously consider whether this is the type of behavior they want representing their schools. If I were them, I would expel any player shown attacking another and the police should be making arrests. This is football, not some gang war. Attacking players with helmets, stepping on them when they are down, and coming off the bench swinging crutches...inexcusable. Then to wrap things up by jumping in celebration? Who's in charge? If I was an alum of either of these schools I would be sick.

Speechless. Thomas is a moron. His call to meet after the game and settle it like men is just ridiculous.

The "announcer" should be fired.

the cane alumni/sports talk guys down here (Dan Silio) are not outraged. "Yeah we used to fight all the time, but at least we beat better teams."

the miami reaction i've heard the most is that they are glad that their team is showing some spirit.

typical miami bs. 1 game suspensions?

auburn suspended their top linebacker prospect for 6 games for an underage drinking offense.

UM guy swings a helmet and connects, 1 game?

I sure hope greater suspensions come down. Talk is cheap when you're not the coach of the team, but I'd have a hard time not suspending some of those players for the rest of the season.

Comcast didn't think much of Lamar's comments, either. It is being reported that he may lose his job.
