the yankees aren't paying all of Alex Rodriguez's $25M annual salary. I believe the Texas Rangers are still paying about $10M/year, with the Yankees picking up the remaining $15M/year. Jeter, Giambi, and I believe P Mike Mussina all get more per year than A-Rod from Steinbrenner.

Dude was going on and on there for a while...too long, IMO. That was, until he busted out Mell Hall and Andy Hawkins. Very nice, indeed.
If someone wants to give the Yankees the championship trophy now, I'm sure they'd take it. There's too much baseball to be played, or too little in the case of a 3 of 5 ALDS...
