Just found out that Star Trek is 40 years old now.

Would you be waxing nostalgia over Star Trek?

What would be your favorite episodes of the Star Trek series?

As Spock would say, "Live long and prosper!" with his Vulcan hand gesture. How did Leonard Nimoy get that idea of using the Vulcan hand gesture?

To quote Shatner himself, "Get a life!"

I am a huge fan the Trekkie movies. Whenever I am in Sac-town I try and catch any of the local Vulcan death metal bands. Plus, I am a huge fan of Star Trek folk singing.

If you haven't seen it, check out the William Shatner roast on Comedy Central. That was hysterical!

I actually wasn't a big fan of it. I'm a fan of roasts, but too many people did their whole spiel without me even laughing. I'd say the highlight, though, was the gay Asian guy who was also on the show (obviously I have never watched Star Trek and have absolutely no idea what character he was)

In honor of Star Trek's start 40 years ago, this is for the Trekkies, so I plan to do 10 questions by posting one question each day.

1) What's the orgin of the phrase "to boldly go where no man has gone before"?

a) Rejected 1964 U.S. Postal Service motto.
b) Casanova's personal pledge.
c) 1958 U.S. government pamphlet "Introduction to Outer Space"
d) Gene Roddenberry's pitch to NBC executives.
