The WhalerCanes played well. Just remember Canada, six more teams and it will truly be a National Hockey League.

There is no celebration in sport quite like the awarding of the Stanley Cup.

I HATE PETER KARMANOS!!!!!!
It all started downhill for hartford when Ed Johnston traded Ron Francis and Ulf Samuelsson. I feel like another part of my childhood has been stolen.

That is the way I felt after watching each of the new Star Wars movies. :(

Gary Bettman sucking up to Karmanos in his remarks to the crowd before the Stanley Cup came out made me nauseous.

It is nice to see Brett Hedican finally get his name on the Cup. He was a young defenceman back in 9'4 when the Canucks made their run. Too bad his wife was not there to celebrate with him.

Kristi Yamaguchi? Yeah she was, NBC showed her like five times in one of the boxes.

All in all an average playoff, I hope and pray that the NHL gets picked up on ESPN again, Im gettin real freaking tired of watching the guys on Around the Horn talk about nothing but basketball.

I agree 110% percent. And the worst part is, even after tonight, they'll still be talking about it into next week.

When I'm not doing other stuff and I find myself in front of the TV at 4, yeah, I watch Around the Horn. Woody Page slays me.

Woody Paige kills a little of my soul every time he speaks. And what ever happened to Max Kellerman? Osama Bin Laden has a higher profile than that guy.

I like woody...but the whole concept was pretty lame from the get go...i thought they would end it when they banished Max Kellerman to the ranks of FSN......or has he really taken up the lead in searching for Jimmy Hoffa?....who cares as long as he isnt on my tv anymore...

And what ever happened to Max Kellerman?

Max left ATH when FOX offered him his own show. I think he was about four episodes in to it when his brother was murdered. After that, he fell off. There was a very good article about him and his brother (and their family) in Sports Illustrated about 2 months ago. Pretty tragic ordeal.
