"ATLANTA -- Former NFL fullback Craig "Ironhead" Heyward, who played 11 seasons in the league with five different franchises, died here Saturday after a seven-year battle with a recurring brain tumor.

Heyward, who retired from the league following the 1998 season, was 39."

I know that I am getting older when the guys I remember playing in the pros begin to pass away. Heyward was money for me in my formative seasons of fantasy, R.I.P.

Who could forget his famous commercials for men's body washes that first allowed me to use the "puff"? Some might say that Ironhead opened the door to metrasexuals.

"But Ironhead, what's with this thingy?"

Ahhh 1995... I miss you so...
