For anyone who cares there is going to be a scene at the end of the movie after the credits roll. Not sure what it's about, but there's your heads up.
Any opinions or predictions on the movie? Am I the only one who cares?

Being as I've often told people that I'm not seeing a movie this year unless it has the word "X" or "Men" in the title, you could say that I'm excited to see this movie. I'm interested to see what they're going to do with the "Phoenix" storyline they started at the end of X-2. Also, I'm looking forward to seeing all the characters they're going to have in this one. I hope the rumor I heard about Gambit not showing up in this one is not true, because Gambit is great!

There isn't anything about him (Gambit) on the X-Men 3 website. Which is sad cuz he's my favorite.
Although the new chars "introduced" in this one that I assume have more that just a cameo are Angel, beast, Kitty Pride, and Juggernaught(sp?)

For anyone who hasn't seen it so far:

Kelsey Grammer gets an A+ from what i saw in this preview. Too bad about the lack of Gambit
wonder where the logic came from?

I remember purchasing my first X-men comics when the first "new" team came out - Thunderbird, Storm, Nightcrawler etc....
Needless to say I'm anxiously awaiting X3.

Hugh Jackman and Ian McClellan are starring in "spin-offs" of their respected characters...due out in 2007. Wolverine and Magneto

I just got back from a midnight showing, and here are some (non-spoiler) thoughts:
Lots of explosions = good.
Lack of Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) = BAD!
The mere presence of Vinnie Jones (a.k.a. BulletTooth Tony in "Snatch") =
very acceptable. In my opinion, this guy doesn't make enough movies.
There were some things that were so cheese-tastic that my friends and I couldn't stop laughing, even though it wasn't supposed to be funny.
The hour and 40-50 minutes go by pretty quickly.
Overall, this was exactly what I expected. It wrapped things up just like a final installment of a trilogy should, but left just enough in the end to justify those sequels mentioned above by ZagGrad. I liked it, but I'm probably not going to watch it again until it's on FX or some other network.

Kelsey Grammer was alot more agile as beast than he was when he gave the speech linked below:

I wasn't too impressed with this one. I won't go in to details for those who haven't seen it, but IMO, not worth the $8.

I missed this so if anyone actually saw it could fill me in that would be great.
I was disappointed, decent movie, but like Matrix 3 it just didnt make the cut like the first two.

Earlier in the movie when X was teaching a class to some students. he showed them a film about a comatose man (I believe he was comatose) and whether or not the students should use their power to help him communicate with family/friends/doctors/nurses/etc.
The last scene showed the same man when a nurse walked in. The voice-over was of X trying to talk to her. I think it was about 20 seconds long. My girlfriend thought I was an idiot for making her stay. It was lame.

SPOILER ALERT:
Don't scroll down if you don't want to read
The part after the credits show that Charles Xavier transferred his mind into a comatose person. I have heard some people say the comatose person is supposed to be Charles' son. Also at the end when they showed Magneto able to move the chess piece again, was that implying that the cure wears off? It's pretty obvious that there will eventually be another X-Men movie after this one because they are leaving the door open with these scenes. I am excited for the Wolverine and Magneto movie as well.
