Honest, this is the best one that I have seen for a tutorial:

http://www.frenchmadetv.com/movies/howToVideoPodcast.mov

They also do a fabulous one on How to Give CPR.

Also, download Audacity:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

This helps with mixing.

No offense Sonny, but for being moderator of this board, and virtual ruler of USLIA.com, you seem to have very little actual computer knowledge. That just strikes me as slightly odd. I'd have pegged you a basement dwelling compugeek. But what do I know.

I know enough to be dangerous..... But I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination.

I just have a handful of folks that help me look so good! :)

Other misconceptions about Sonny:

- He is not 70 years old
- He is not bald
- He is not some loner living in his mother's basement
- He is actually a fun guy to go out with
- He does not have a pot belly

Sorry I am off topic

Podcasts are recorded similar to your radio broadcast at the tourney... You can get about $200-$300 worth of decent recording equipment for audio (obviously more if you want to do video), and then record it to an mp3 or movie file. Publishing it is just a matter of putting the mp3, .mov, .mp4., or other file on a server such as USLIA.com, add it to your current RSS news feed and go from there. If you wish to register your podcast with iTunes or other podcast sites, you will have to search their requirements. The iTunes podcast specifications can be found here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/podcasts/techspecs.html - I'm not too familiar with the process, but the company I am currently doing part time development work for right now is creating a podcast community and I have to do all the RSS creation and make it compatible with iTunes. They have links to a FAQ page and Producing Podcasts at the link above.
