I Can Finally Sleep... Favre to play in '06

Now, I can get some rest. I have been tossing and turning since the Philadelphia game. This has-been has been holding the good people of Green Bay hostage since January. I watched Everybody's All-America(n) the other day and thought of Favre. Thanks for the Super Bowls. Now go away. At what point does Aaron Rodgers get the call off the bench.

Should have gone to Baltimore, Brett.

At least the Packers don't have to invest any money towards a punter.......

Brett in any other colors than green and yellow just wont happen.

But i agree, Rodgers is due his shot... he might still get it this year.

I think he should give it up. I think he should have given it up when he was running toward the end zone in a game in 2004, he was past the line of scrimmage and was about to take a hit when he threw the ball up in the air like my 10 year old brother does when I am about to tackle him.

Frankly, thank God.

This means the Pack can focus on their defense/O-line. They'll probably pick up AJ Hawk from Ohio St in the first round. ARod has one more year to watch and learn from one of the best players to ever play the game, and it's common for first round draft qb's to not play for a year or so.

And finally, one of my favorite things about Favre's return is that it gives Viqueen fans one more year to hate on him, and one more year for #4 to light up the pretty boys in purple, (insert joke about the packers/vikes last year here.)

there are few things less rewarding in life than focusing all of your hate, anger, frustration, ect. against one person. I think I speak for a lot of Vikings fans when I say I'm glad he will be back another year.

It is just sad, he can't make the throws he used to. It's a lot like Dan Marino's last game in the playoffs against Jacksonville when they got beat something like 49-0. it was pretty sad to see a legend of the game go out like that. I don't see much better than a 20-plus interception and 15 touchdowns, anything better will be shocking.
