The Facebook.com is elitist and I hate it! Of course, my quips would not exist if they would just add St. John's to the list... (sigh).
To be honest, the facebook is a hand down from the prep school people in New England. Facebooks are used to identify students and allow upperclass boys to know which Freshman girls they are going to score with when the school year begins. The facebook is a bootleg bible for all preppies...
You laugh, but I'm serious...

It is an addiction. It caught fire at Iowa the last few weeks before I took off.
It's also one of those things that I know many people bash it then someone finally gets them to sign up and next thing you know, they are addicted so don't be too quick to diss it Dan.
And when has it been wrong to know some freshmen girls?!

Gonzaga uses a phone directory like this, but we always called it the stalker's handbook. I'm not addicted to the facebook as much as I am this thing. Not yet anyway...

I think facebook will eventually take over the world.
We finally got it here at SFA, and its sad when you first sign on:
You have 0 friends.
You are connected to 0 people. blah blah
...sad
