DALLAS -- American Airlines took a page out of Oprah Winfrey's playbook Wednesday night, giving vouchers for free flights to everyone at the Dallas Mavericks' final game of the regular season.

If every fan at the game, plus 1,000 watching at home redeem their vouchers, they could have a face value of more than $3 million, based on the average $79 one-way fare on American's Love Field service.

Proves once again who the best owner in the NBA is. Maybe the best owner in sports.

The tickets all fly out of Love Field, which services San Antonio, St Louis, Kansas City, and Austin. Still a cool give away, though.

We should hit Cuban up for a sponsorship deal for the USLMDIA...or maybe i'll just give him a call and see if he wants to sponsor some teams...

I thought there was a rumor floating around that he wanted in on an MLL or NLL team.

Our team at Texas-Arlinton made an attempt for a donation, but to no avail, we did get listened to by the group that handles such things of business not just the immediate no like we were expecting.

It talks of a professional team coming to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, the NLL and MLL have had serious talks with Mark Cuban as being the frontman for a team.

Cuban has been branching out a little and I think he will get involved in the game of lacrosse here in the next few years.

Good through November, but must be booked by the end of April.

Free plane ticket is a free plane ticket. Can't beat it.
