A bit of trivia -

Name the TV show (from the late 70's/early 80s) on which Janet Jones regularly appeared. Bonus points if you can name any other principals.

Don't know the show, but wasn't she in one or more of the Police Academy movies?

Now you are showing your age JR. 2/3 of the USLIA.com forum posters weren't even born when that show was on the air. ;)

I personally think the pinnacle of her film career was American Anthem (a great vehicle for former olympian Mitch Gaylord as well). Think about it, 90 minutes of her in a gymnast's outfit. Luckily we have mute buttons so we don't have to suffer through the dialog.

Obviously, you don't remember August 1988. My Canadian friends put her on the same status that Beatles fans place Yoko.

Ahhh okay. I thought you were giving a sarcastic "rejoice".

No, no sarcasm.

Whilst we must never forget that Canadiana and British burned our White House, Canada does control 20% of the earth's freshwater and oil sands that contain more oil than the Middle East, Canada is our friend. A much needed friend.

PoCo is the bomb! I love me some Vansterdam!

No guesses?

The TV show was Dance Fever. Janet, first with Diane and later with Flo made up "Motion" the dancer sidekicks of the show's host Denny Terrio (the choreographer of Saturday Night Fever). Terrio was later replaced by Adrian Zmed of TJ hooker and Bachelor Party fame.

How this all relates to Kevin Bacon, I have not yet worked out.

Would checking out http://www.imdb.com help out with "how all this relates to Kevin Bacon (a.k.a. Footloose)...?"

using UVA's "the oracle of Bacon", I found it.

Janet Jones

What a great use of university resources.

Poking around a little it actually turns out that Kevin Bacon isnt that great of a "hollywood center". he is only the 1049 best. Surprising.

Could've been satisfied earlier than that. Also in Flamingo Kid was Matt Dillon. Matt Dillon was in Wild Things (1998) with Kevin Bacon.
