Check out this story. Sure it won't go through, but what a waste of time and tax payer's money.

Under a bill by Sen. Bill Alter, grocery and convenience stores would risk losing their liquor licenses if they sold beer colder than 60 degrees.

With the home of the biggest maker of beer in the world right in MO, I don't see this having a snowball's chance in hell.

From the Truman State webiste:

"The current Missouri open container law applies only
to the driver, making Missouri one of thirteen states
(AK, AR, CO, CT, DE, IN, MO, MS, MT, TN, VA,
WV, WY) that allow passengers to drink, despite TEA-
21. An increasing number of Missouri municipalities,
however, are adopting ordinances that apply to the
passenger."

I know for sure the city/county that Lindenwood University is located in, has adopted legislature that prohibits the passengers from having open containers.
That I understand, but the laughable waste of time to try and get rid of "cold beer" I just don't get. And yeah there's no way it would pass with Anheuser Busch in town.

If someone is drinking and driving, usually they are in a state of mind where they don't care if the beer is cold or not.
