Does anyone in the Los Angeles area know if the cable companies are showing the game? I can't find it anywhere in Charter's listings and I don't have Dish!

This is a crock that Virginia/Virginia Tech is getting coverage on 85% of the country and ESPN is giving Washington, Oregon and California the Michigan/Ohio State game.
What happened to ABC covering Michigan/Ohio State?

ESPN is showing the VA/VA Tech game in our area. Maybe Charter has something against the Big 10...

I've got to believe the Mich/OSU game is on ABC, it's just a matter of whether or not you live in the right part of the country. Folks on the west coast might not get the game since it's an eastern time zone kick-off.

According to this link (
http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlistings/schedule?network=30), the game is nationally on ABC at 10 am for us left coasters with the Cal-Stanford game on afterwards only on the West Coast.

It must just be Charter. When I checked their guide last night they didn't have the game listed. Then again they have been known to change things at the last hour. I'll check when I get home today and see if that's changed. TV guide has World Cup Golf listed for our service at 1 with cartoons on at 10. ARGH!!!

It's going to be on ESPN.
http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-fbc ... nes-sports
ESPN announced Monday that it would regionally televise a Division I-A game for the first time, providing West Coast viewers with Ohio State at Michigan on Saturday at 10 a.m.
The game is being televised by ABC to 70% of the country, but the network can't show it on the West Coast because of government limitations on the number of times ABC's Saturday morning children's programming can be preempted.
ESPN's Saturday schedule still begins at 9 a.m. with Virginia-Virginia Tech, but that game will be preempted on the West Coast at 10 a.m. by Ohio State-Michigan. Because of the schedule change, West Coast viewers figure to miss the start of the 1 p.m. game between Michigan State and Penn State.

Thank, Matt. I'm usually too busy chasing the kids to read the paper.

Sadly, I don't think I have picked up one copy of the LA Times since I moved out here about a year ago nor have I once gone to their web site.
And I only watch the local news when I have to work early Friday morning.
After living in Iowa after living in Dallas and actually paying attention, that turned me away from attempting to follow the news because it was so bad.

Do you mean that you were turned off from reading
Dallas Morning News?

No, I got turned off after growing up with the Dallas Morning News then going to Iowa and all I had for a newspaper was the Daily Iowan and the local TV was horrible. But for the DMN, greatest sports section ever. Back when everyone did those read a book thing through your school and Pizza Hut, my mom convinced my teacher to count the sports section of the Dallas Morning News as I always read that in the morning and I hated to read any book.

I used to hate staying in Ames for lacrosse because the news was just terrible. I would watch it and be like "This is filmed in someone's garage I think..."
One time all we could get was news from Rochester, MN... how weird is that?

Well that loyal Michigan fan is going to be a grump after watching the Wolverines give the game back to the Buckeyes at the end. Great scramble by the OSU QB at the end when it looked like he was going to be tackled - steps back and out - uncorks a 26 yd strike. Clutch - darn it.
