Colorado Springs' KKTV reports that Joel Hinrichs, the man who blew himself up outside the Kansas State-Oklahoma game, tried several times to enter Memorial Stadium but was turned away when he refused to allow officials to search his backpack. The station also reports that the bomb Hinrichs carried was radio controlled.

No, like he was going to leave it in the Stadium then possibly leave and hit the ignite button. Who knows.

My understanding is that the investigation of this is still pending.

There's been a lot of rumor and speculative BS out there on this one.

I really haven't heard anything either. I think they're keeping this pretty quiet. The school shooting stuff got a lot of press, hopefully this doesn't entice a copy cat response.

also weird that i never heard coverage from a national news source about the Orlando Police Officer who gunned down an undercover UCF Police Officer who had discharged his weapon into the air at a UCF football game.

I heard about that up here in Connecticut. I remember thinking how horrible it would be to shoot one of your own men without knowning it.

Wow, a really uplifting thought for a rainy Wedneday.

There was an article yesterday in the Wall St. Journal. Section B-1, front page about the OK bomber. Very interesting.
