I am going to choose the Red Sox over the Yankees and the White Sox over the Indians this weekend. I will not be surprised that Boston and New York may have to meet again for a one-game playoff next Monday.

What about you all?

After seeing the Red Sox finally show their offensive power again yesterday, and get a great performance from their starter, David Wells, I agree with Red Sox winning two out of three. With the White Sox sitting most of their stars (which is completely unfair to the Yankees/Indians/Red Sox, but if I were a White Sox fan, I'd be completely for it), I see the Indians winning the next two. That would mean a one-game playoff of Red Sox vs. Yankees on Monday in New York. I think New York will win that, forcing another one-game playoff between the Indians and Red Sox on Tuesday, which the Red Sox will win giving them the wild card.

Friggen Yankees. We were all hoping they didn't make the playoffs as our workload for the playoffs would have been ten times less. Now if Boston and the Yankees make it to the ALCS....that is going to be a pain in the butt.

From a fan though, would be exciting.

Yup, I would rather it be BoSox clinching the title tomorrow, but they have a chance to be a wild card. I just hope the White Sox will defeat the Indians tomorrow, so there would be no one game playoff game on Monday if I understand correctly.
