There is one I found so far that shows each NCAA team with its team logos:

I forgot to mention that you can scroll down further to click on the new 2005 football helmets.

Check out the samples of each conference (I selected only 2):

I believe that each conference with the football helmets explains the history of each school's evolution of their helmets.

There are some classic helmets in the "defunct college teams" section, including some great USLIA programs- Sonoma State, BU and Pacific to name a few...

The old Michigan State Lax Coach, George Counes, left MSU to coach at D2 Pace University. For some reason I find this funny.

Pace university's football helmet:

Dan,

Pray tell. I wonder if BU (Boston Univeristy) had to close its football program because of lack of interest and because its hockey program is so strong???

Word on the street is that BU axed football because of budgets, therefore making BU one of few schools to say "yes" to non-revenue sports and "no" to football. While many other schools have held on to football despite the high cost (and cut other sports to balance the budget), BU thought that they would get rid of football and fund their other sports instead.

Boston University's football program was very popular when it was cut, and if I remember correctly, they were decently successful. It's a shame Boston University couldn't find a way to keep football and everything else...

Under the helmets he has made himself, the UF and VT helmets look pretty sweet.

Hmm....

Pray tell, what's up with the Colorado Buffs' football helmet? I just noticed that it has a red question mark on it. Baylor now has a blue + affixed on that helmet logo right now. I already read what the helmet logo creator explained about the ? and +.

I know Baylor will temporarily have the green helmet at least for this week, but I wonder if any one of y'all know about the Colorado Buffaloes helmet.

Methinks, Wisconsin stillllllll has the ugliest looking helmet.

 You betcha I am not a Nascar fan even with the nascar looking W on the helmet. That would be too distracting for me.

Eventhough Baylor claims that the green helmets are only temporary, I am not actually keen on that. Just too much green all over. The helmet below is described as "Oregon" Green metallic shell with white classic "BU" outlined in gold, with forest green mask.
