The Chicago Cubs have been the Cubs since 1902. What were they in 1901?

before 1902 the "Cubs" used the nicknames "White Stockings", "Colts", and "Orphans". The Chicago Daily News used the nickname "Cubs" for the first time. It was offically adopted by them team in 1907

White stockings, Colts and Orphans were all team names used by the Chicago National League franchise prior to 1902.

Who was the original tennant of Wrigley Field and what was the stadiums original name?

The Chicago Federals of the Federal League in 1914 or 1915. Originally named Weeghman Park after Charlie Weeghman built it (also built Comiskey).

I wrote my first research paper on the history of Wrigley.
