What's your poison.........I know that if I reach in the fridge now, I would either come out with a Guiness or a corona.......just a couple of my preferences.....

ooh very nice. while theres no beer in my fridge here at home because my parents dont drink and i dont think they would appreciate me keeping beer in their fridge, down at my brothers house there are several different options. in his mini-fridge in his room, there is his own bottled beer that he brews himself and michelob golden light. in the main fridge, while it isnt beer, there might be some jello shots left over from when he made about 400 around a half to a full month ago. but in his kegerator, there is a keg of either leines or busch light. i think. he might have gotten a new keg. i like my brothers house. but obviously i dont drink cause im not 21....

Negra Modela Dark -- The finest of the Mexican Beers
Two Guiness left over from St Patricks Day 2003.
Some Brown Groltsh crap and Firestone Flavored Water that my Father in Law drinks.

Back when I was a poor college student, I drank a lot of Busch Light, Natty Light and the champagne of beers: Miller High Life.

Now that I can afford, I am a fan of Corona or Shiner Bock. I still remember the first day Iowa City got Shiner Bock my junior year. My roommate walked through downtown on his way back to our apartment and noticed one of the bars had a sign with it, I immediatlely dropped my homework and went to that bar to have one. Ah college........

Right now I've got 2 Shiner Bocks and 2 Shiner Hefeweitzen. My old man just transitioned to fly the B777 and will be making runs to Tokoyo, London, and Frankfurt so the beer selections should improve greatly here in the near future.

I'm pretty familiar with the European brews having lived in Deutchland but I don't know anything about Japanese ale. Anybody have a clue as to what I should have him bring back?

Kirin is a pretty good japanese beer, but you can get that in the states.......however, it may be dirt cheap over there

Newcastle is top notch. Thinking back to my college days, I remember making a roadie to Bristol RI for a tourney in fall ball, and getting 2 cases of naragansett for like $10 or so. We had a horrible team, but we had alot of fun. :P

Just did an inventory of the micros in my fridge:

One bottle of Fat Tire Ale (my favorite brew on tap), one Red Hook ESB and a six-pack of Moose Drool Brown Ale. Haven't bought a mass-produced macro beer in at least ten years...

Moose Drool is some really dark, nasty crap.....not that I would know or anything.
