After reading that Lance Armstrong announced that the press should not miss his Monday afternoon prerace news conference in Augusta, GA, will he be officially retiring from racing or will he announce his marriage to Sheryl Crow? What do you think?

I believe it will be the latter as I know he is under contract to do the Tour de France this summer.

Another follow-up question: Will Sonny Pieper be at the prerace press conference in Augusta?

I din't know that he had a contract to race in the Tour, I thought last year was the last time he would race in it. Who is the contract with?

It has been announced already that he is going for number 7 so I doubt he is retiring unless it is a "I am going to retire after the tour" type thing.

yeah Discovery, because they bought out United Postal.

I think it will be saying that he wont do the tour de france again, not that hes retireing all togther.

Here is the envelope please:

Everyone has guessed correctly that Lance Armstrong officially announced that he will retire professionally as a cyclist after the Tour de France.

He plans on focusing on his three children and the campaign against cancer from what I read from Yahoo Sports.
