Good movie, definitely worth the $6.50 student ticket price. Anyway, for those of you who have seen it, are those lacrosse gloves mickey rourke's character used for the barbed wire? they look suspiciously familiar. Kinda like when I first realized American Gladiators was using the old Bacharach helmets.

I tried doing a google image search on the good ole days of them wearing those helmets during the eliminator but I did find this picture which shows these people using some cascades.

Yeah, I've heard another person say they are some Glads, but another person said they're some special kind of gloves to handle barbed wire (the kid worked at a hardware store, so I dont know). I havent seen it.

well if they're special gloves from a hardware store, then the part covering the hands is styled exactly like the STX Gladiators. The use for them in the movie is to handled barbed wire, but they looked like the STX gloves with these big gauntlet things that covered the guy's entire forearms.

saw Sin City tonight... i thought it was great... i thought the gloves looked like lax gloves too!!....hahha
