Not sure about the liberal bias, this is the #5 story on CNN.com! Apparently there was never a link between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda according to a Pentagon report. That seems bigger than #5 to me.

This is a NEW story?
By liberal bias I assume you're referring to the brie-eating, chablis-swilling Hollywood set occupying that five-sided bulding in D.C.?

No kidding. It could be another treasonous attack job by liberals in the Pentagon. Just like the national intelligence estimate from the State Dept.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but when did they say we have to stop Al Qaeda in Iraq before they invaded? Never. We went into Iraq to dethrone a tyrannical dictator. And before anybody else gets the chance, yes, we helped put him there and helped fund some of his regime.

You are.

Bush, in a February 2003 radio address, said: "Iraq has sent bombmaking and document forgery experts to work with al Qaeda. Iraq has also provided al Qaeda with chemical and biological weapons training. And an al Qaeda operative was sent to Iraq several times in the late 1990s for help in acquiring poisons and gases. We also know that Iraq is harboring a terrorist network headed by a senior al Qaeda terrorist planner. This network runs a poison and explosive training camp in northeast Iraq, and many of its leaders are known to be in Baghdad."

That is from an article in the Washington Post entitled Bush Defends Assertions of Iraq-Al Qaeda Relationship dated 18 June, 2004.

and we know that DOD, NSA and everyone else is infallible even with their lack of credible intelligence.

Because we know there were no radical elements in Iraq, or Somalia, or Indonesia.

Everyone likes Americans. We're polite, humble and frugal people
