I am going to visit a friend for a few weeks in NJ. We are planning to go to Yankee Stadium for a game. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to sit or how to do a game there? I want to make the most of the game since it is my only chance to catch a game.
I will also be in Annapolis from April 1-3 so if you have any suggestions there I would appreciate it. I am planning on seeing the Naval Academy and going to the Inner Harbor area.

The Naval Academy Chapel is worth seeing. In fact, the entire campus is beautiful.

Really the only way to do it is to sit in the outfield and wear a full Red Sox uniform.

yes. They have a small museum on US Naval History adjacent to the chapel (if I recall correctly) that details some of the early US Navy stuff including the tomb of
John Paul Jones.
Very much a thumbs up if you into American history.

I could be wrong on this, but I swore I have heard that if you sit in the outfield, you are not attached to the rest of the stadium and can't walk around if you want.
Also, they might not sell alcohol in the outfield bleachers either (they didn't at one point).
I am sure there are others on here with better info but just giving you a heads up on a potential problem.

Everything I read says no alcohol in the Bleachers. It would be fun to sit with the "Bleacher Creatures," but I also think I want to sit in some good seats. I am also looking to do the Yankee Clipper to get to the game.

In annapolis I would hit main st and the Cove. The Sly Fox is a nice dinner and lunch spot too.
Inner Harbor in Baltimore is always a plus for visitors. Going east from there you have Little Italy, Fells Point, Canton, then Greek Town.....all side by side and within 10 minutes if you don't hit the lights on Eastern Ave.

Zeus,
How could you not recommend taking in a Blast or Skipjacks game? How 'bout a night at the Power Plant followed by late night at Bohagers? Heard the Ravyns are back together. Maybe take in a taping of the Corny Collins Show?
Seriously, I know it is early in the season but Cantler's is my place in Annapolis. It is on the water and the food is cheap and great. Touring the Naval Academy is a must.
When in Charm City, might I suggest lunch at the Lexington Market and go to Faidley's. Been going there since I was a kid. Love it.
