It'd be better if there were a pit bull hanging onto his ankle!

I have a great pic of Vick and pitt bull, but since it's a JPEG I can't figure out how to post it.

Go put it up on Picasa or something, then I think the Img tag would work.

That is absolutely disgusting Campbell.

I love dogs. My family lost our dog just before Christmas, and all of this animal cruelty is horrific. I seriously do not know what to say to this case.

I will admit to being overly sensitive due to losing a pet at a very difficult time.

Well the head of the NAACP in Atlanta RL White, decided to open his mouth and spew ridiculousness about the Vick case.

White also said he didn't understand the uproar over dogfighting, when hunting deer and other animals is perfectly acceptable.

I mean think about it...this sandwich I am eating is made of Ham, Turkey and Roast Beef...that means 3 different animals died in the making of this "supposed" sandwich. At least in a dog fight only one dog gets electrocuted/hung/shot/beaten/herpes-ed by Vick. 3 animals...1 animal....3>1....why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks?

That is laughable.

I've heard the "It's only a dog" and the "The Feds were targeting him because of his skin color" arguments a few times already..... Sigh.

The man pled guilty to a felony. Nuff said.

Apparently the NAACP wasn't around during the OJ Simpson murder trial. I recall that drew some media attention. I'd say the media made quite a big deal out of it.
Monica Lewinsky had more president in her than George Bush ever will.

What is being overlooked is that should Vick be banned from the NFL it would not be for engaging in dogfighting, rather it would be for gambling and for associating with known gamblers. Not to mention that he lied to both the his employer and the commissioner of the league about his involvement. In that case the precedent certainly exists for lifetime banishment, just ask Pete Rose or read the Dowd Report. You could also ask Shoeless Joe Jackson how he feels about it considering he was ACQUITTED of gambling charges but was still banned from baseball for life.

Or he's just being persecuted based on race and because white America doesn't understand his "subculture".

I know the St Paul Saint's (local baseball team) was looking into giving these away one night at the ball park. This same team a few years back gave out 2,500 purple and gold rubber boats to commemorate the Viking's little boat party.
