I understand that. . .but it was such an absolute throttling. . .and Nadal took Roger to 5 sets at Wimbledon last year. I think Rafi is ready to win majors on other surfaces. . .and he may keep Roger short of Pete's tennis GS record.

And please don't think I'm hating on Tiger - he's absolutely unreal. . .maybe I just can't let go of watching Jack as a kid --the 1986 Masters is still one of my favorite all-time sports moments. . .

Watching that match today from England was pretty fantastic if you're a tennis fan. . .or any sports fan really. It looks like Rafi is ready for prime time. . .

And Nadal will be the new #1 in the world by the end of the season in all likelihood. . .

I think they said that he'll be #1 now. A great match to watch, indeed. Roger showed why he's a great champion, but Nadal palyed better all day - some unbelievable shots and gets.

I thought they said - specifically - that Federer would most likely keep the #1. I mean... 9-7 break point in the 5th set... wasn't exactly a trouncing or anything.

Not miss remembered? Glad to see everyone was watching the Dick's Sportings Goods Open, where Eduardo Romero won his second career Champions Tour event. Neither were we. The tennis was too great today.

Federer will remain #1 for the time being. . .but they anticipate that will change over the next few months. . .

I don't know exactly how the ratings work, but I think they use results over the past 2 seasons and they can predict the future a bit as a result.

And AK was pretty awesome yesterday in the AT&T. . .yes, I did watch the golf after Wimbledon was complete . . .
