So, Corbin, there are a bunch of us who are happily participating in this thing but have no clue how everyone else picked the games. It sure would be more fun to have the master sheet with everyone's picks so we can chart our relative progress.
Any chance you can compile it and mail it out to all the participants before the bowl season is finished?
College Football Pick 'Em
Sorry guys had some computer issues. I freaking hate technology.
All of you should have gotten the master spreadsheet now.
I really am sorry for the delay.
Yes Boise screwed everyone.
Francis the Cat (ESPN First Take) would be in third place in our system.
The confidence points were just for fun.
Yes I watch too much college football.
Yes I have gotten lucky with my picks as well for instance taking New Mexico because they are playing in their own bowl game and I dont know anything about Nevada.
Lets go Hawaii!

My logic may be flawed at this late hour, but doesn't a confidence pool necessrily have to be weighted towards the heavy favorites being the higher number, with the winner having the highest, rather than the lowest total?
You can only get points for the games you get right, and if you value a loss at zero points, if you got no games right you'd have the lowest total! Whereas if the high total wins, zero for a loss works out pretty well, no?
In your low point system how do you value losses?

Like I said earlier, I messed up on the confidence rating. I went through and wrote a different equation to give the inverse ranking if you got the game right.

Except if you did the confidence ratings that way to start, like I did. then you shouldn't use the inverse forumal.
(Not that it matters - I'm sucking in the pool this year. LOL!

I don't normally like to gripe about the refs and missed calls, but anyone who watched UK vs. FSU last night would have to agree that the stripes were on the take because there were some pretty bad missed calls that really did decide a game...like offensive pass interference when the receiver doesn't even push off the DB, or when a defender runs into a punter and knocks him down no more than 5 feet from the ref and no flag is thrown.

Man, there's been some great games this bowl season.
Michigan played pretty well today. That's the way the were suppose to look all season. Even with all of the turnovers they were still phenomenal when it counted.
Watching the Ill and USC game now. Was looking like a blow out (which I expected as my most confident pick), but they took their foot off the gas a little. Ill is hanging tough. USC is great to watch on D. Their closing speed is ridiculous.

A killer turnover for Illinois turned the tide,a nd the floodgates opened. It looked like it might be a ballgame for a bit.
Hawaii has the second half to show they belonged - so far this half they've looked second-string.
Overall the bowl games have been very entertaining.

Hawaii.................................41 to 10. Ran into a buzz saw on D. Hawaii had zero running game. Georgia didn't even have to honor the run. When you're sitting in a cover-2 all day you get ridiculous picks.
