Harrison was out yes, but the rest is a bit of a stretch. Clark played the entire game and was shut down by Rodney Harrison (he was able to do this in part because M. Harrison was out). Gonzalez started and was hurt late in the first half (but he's not a difference-maker). Addai KILLED (26 carries, 112 yds; 5 rec, 114 yrds, td). Don't you remember that ridiculous 73-yard catch and run Addai had at the end of the half? He was as fine as he'll ever be.

Indy scares the hell out of me as Pats fan, Foxboro or no, but regarding injuries, Harrison is the only player of note they get back from the last game. His return will be mitigated by the loss of Freeney, who is a stud.

If the two teams get that far...

Harrison is not cancelled out by freeney, because one plays offense and one plays defense. The return of Harrison means that is another weapon for Manning. Here is the list...
Reggie Wayne
Marvin Harrison
Dallas Clark
Anthony Gonzalez
Joseph Addai
This team can line up and play four wide all day against the patriots if they want to. The Pat corners are good, but how deep are they.

Still a little premature, because NE will get punched in the mouth this weekend by the Jags, lets see how they react. But if Jacktown gets down double digits early, it will be over

Well my prediction continue to go right, but I did not expect the Seattle defense to lay as big an egg as they did. I guess all the talk about washington being so great was just talk as they could not muster more than 13 against that swiss cheese like defense. Green Bay looked really good.

New England looked very good and took the best shot the Jags could give them - a pretty good game by garrard - and still won by double digits.

You got that right, Coach! But I'm not sure you can put it all on the 'Hawks defense -- those 28 yards of rushing "amassed' by the offense sure didn't help matters either. But give credit where credit is due -- GB played terrific, inspired football, and old #4 was at his best. I have always admired Favre, and while it is disappointing to see my own team play so poorly it wasn't like we lost to the Cowboys, after all! LOL

If the G-men can pull the upset today Brett will get one more game at home in front of the adoring Lambeau faithful next week.

GO GIANTS!

Nothing to be ashamed of with that pick, Coach -- the Jags were very underrated and played extremely well, actually. They simply lost to the best, most complete football team the NFL has seen in decades. You'd have to go back to the best 49ers teams with Montana or Young, or the Aikman-Emmit Cowboys or even the '86 Bears to find an NFL team that is this dominant.

If New England doesn't go 19-0 it will be a huge upset IMHO...

Great games today, awesome performance by the two road teams. SD's winning TD drive without either Rivers or Tomlinson on the field was storybook stuff. The Bolts certainly deserved the victory.

After all the talk in this forum earlier about Romo, I'll admit he played pretty well and that it was his receivers dropping too many catchable passes that was a bigger factor in the Cowboys loss than poor quarterbacking was. But the simple truth remains that with the game on the line and Dallas in the red zone at the end, Romo failed for the second straight season. If the guy ever wins an NFL playoff game, then maybe he will be deserving of all the hype. Eli, on the other hand, was brilliant throughout and really came of age down the stretch this season.

Really hoping to see a Packers/Patriots - Favre/Brady matchup in the Super Bowl - that would be a lot of fun!
Along with watching the always-entertaining Favre (with a classic underhand, falling-to-the-ground toss for a first down) I was most impressed with the dreadlocked Packers D-backs. They were bringing it!! Some big hits from those little guys! Ouch!

I sure was wrong on Sunday... Crap

For another year Cowboys fans have to say there is always next year.

Romo is a great QB and will be for years, but I like so many Cowboys fans forget that this was only his Second season as a starter, 2nd playoff game.

It took Peyton and Eli both a few games before they got their first Playoff win.

Romo will get his wins, but it might be another year or two. But he is good enough to lead this team.

WOW...
I am shocked by the results of the NY Giants victory over Green Bay.

Makes me feel a lot better about the Cowboys loss to the Giants, because the team that played NE close is a pretty good team, I know that i underestimated them, and am not surprised that the Cowboys did as well.

I'm in NY watching the game and the whole town went crazy. I was of course the only person in the bar remotely routing for GB - quietly. The field goal kicker drilled it to win and Howie Long calls him the hero......... after he flubs two field goals previously.

The FG to win the game in regulation was messed up by the snapper.

Go Big Blue!!! (yes, I am a Giants fan coaching in Pats Country)

Tynes missed to FG's in the 4th quarter which would have given them the lead. You can put the one at the end of regulation on the snapper, but the one before that with like 3 minutes to play was on him, just completely hooked it.

I don't know what kind of offense that NY can put up, but Burress is looking healthier each week and they sure do have a nice two pronged attack with Jacobs and Bradshaw.

If eli can continue to play His turnover free game, I like their chances against the Pats, but he has to play mistake free for the most part.

If spread stays at 14, I take the Giants to cover.
