we were supposed to and then i think they resolved the issue. my soph year, so 2003-2004 they released a new "Robo Duck" mascot that didn't even make it through the year and we still use Donald. No one really liked the new one.

Those are actually throwback unis from the mid-90s that they've brought back for the past two homecoming games. Apparently, they've made enough of an impression on the athletics department that yellow is coming back to athletic uniforms.
However, UW's official school colors will remain brown and "Wyoming prairie gold." In case you're wondering prairie gold is actually what manufacturers call Vegas gold.

I read a post from another message board where he went to a football game at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, and he was looking at the football unis and happened to admire the landscape beyond the stadium. He understood that the school colors apparently match the Wyoming landscape.

After a freezing cold game where BYU lost to Wyoming, Lavell Edwards told the media, that "he would rather live and lose in Provo than win and live in Laramie."

SI's 10 Best College Football Uniforms
All in all a decent list, but it has serious questions. Wofford made the list? Have any of their games even been televised? And Texas as #1? The one they're showing on the list (with the "speed holes") is a style we used in Pop Warner football when I was in fifth grade. There were three or four viable options for #1 on this list, and none of them are from Austin.

They're not identical, but close. Yale has numbers on the top shoulder and logos on the side shoulder, whereas BYU has the throwback-looking stripe.

I was always a fan of BYU's old royal blue jerseys and uniforms, especially the ones they had in the fall of '97. However, a few years later they rolled out the atrocities above. Not sure BYU fans were all that happy with "the bib."

As it is with other teams, that uni was done by Nike. I am sure the players didn't like them, too.
