The biggest issue I see with a tax simply on goods and services is that it is very unfair to the lower income levels, those that necessarily spend a great percentage of their income on food, gasoline, etc., while upper income levels have much more disposable income to put into investments, many of which are already tax sheltered.
How is this addressed under the FairTax?
