I don't know what this is but I'm intrigued...might there be meat on a stick or perhaps roast cow as far as the eye can see??? Basically I'm envisioning a place where Homer Simpson would be happy.

Basically any event in the state of Iowa involves meat and/or beer.

I dont know if I agree with this one here.....might be a little more so for Notre Dame as they attempt to get through another tough opponent on that schedule.....

As far a Michigan, it wont be the defining moment...that game is the final one on their schedule...you know, the one mr. carr has yet to win against King Tressel, and will probaly cost him his job....

Lloyd Carr is 1-4 against Jim Tressel. Given that Michigan has failed to get out of September undefeated in the past few years, I think this is quite a big game. Another early season loss for Michigan will fire up the alumni to let Carr go...

In response to horn17 and DanGenck, I just learned that the Wolverines have lost in last three trips to South Bend.

Alex White wrote:I just wanted to point out to my ex-brethren KnoxVegas that Tennessee is 3-2 vs. Florida in the last 5 years. Tennessee's record against Florida prior to the Fulmer era is a non-factor as Florida was a non-factor in the SEC prior to Spurrier. It is very typical that the few anti-Fulmer fans are quick to blame him for every loss, but refuse to give him credit for our victories. I realize once you reach a level of blind hatred, like KnoxVegas has for Fulmer, that no one can change their view. I just wanted to let the the rest of the country know that the twisted views of disenfranchised former Tennessee fans do not reflect the views of 99% of the Big Orange Nation.

Thank you for your time.

Alex, I love you. You are amongst friends. You are safe here. You have been abused for far too long and it is time to break the cycle. Breathe easy. Phil has hurt you and he must pay now. After the years of 10-win seasons, only to be followed up with a bowl lose, he must go. Last year was miserable and now he has to pay for what he has done to you.

David Cutcliffe is the answer, not Phil.

It has nothing to do with September, Michigan could lose everygame, but when it comes down to it - and all the fans know - you better be able to beat OSU, if not, I hear Illinois might have an opening.....

You got that right, but the Illini would sooner dissolve the team (some weeks not a bad idea anyway) than take any coach from Michigan.

We'll see how bad the 'Cuse game is first.

Wow.... Some crazy finishes so far -- Auburn/LSU was a classic. Oregon/Oklahoma was insane. (I can't believe they let Oregon keep that ball after the onside kick. It clearly appeared that a UO player touched it before it went 10 yards). Miami gets shelled at Louisville against the Cards back up QB. ND gets hammered by UM in South Bend. (Quinn looked like he was going to cry one time after a Michigan INT).

FSU might have the worst offense since the forward pass was made legal.

You forgot to mention the questionable call in that game: clear pass interference and they wave off the flag because the ball was tipped. The problem is it wasn't tipped until after the interference occurred. Not reviewable.

Anyone catch the Navy-Stanford game? I noticed the place kicker for Navy had NAYV across his jersey. Seems like an odd thing to get messed up. Although I guess if you read it phonetically it would make sense NAY-V.

Let's update the tote board, shall we Jerry? Make that 130-38 (.774), 5-10 lifetime versus Florida.

Alex- Where you at? What do the sheep have to say after yet another loss? How many loses must we endure before there is a change at the top? It was a great game, yes. But it is about time we get on the winning side of these games.

What do you expect from a government that buys $600 toilet seats?

Now that Brady Quinn is no longer the media darling, who must we be inundated with now?

Scientists have determined that rage over college football loss affects the grammar center of the brain. :D
