If you're a Sharks fan then how can you hate the Blues???

The Sharks have owned the Blues in the past so you should love it when we face eachother!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here....I'm saying Flames coming out of the west vs. the Canes out of the east.

JW wrote:Detroit and Dallas will meet in the Western Conference Finals, and as far as Im concerned, that will be the stanley cup winner. Detroit is deep yes, but nobody is as deep as Dallas on the back end. Their forward pose interesting matchups with any team. They can skate a checking line that can score, two scoring lines, and a checking line with speed. Detroit will be tough, but i have to go with my stars to win their second stanley cup.

RED WINGS SUCK!!!

I have to go with JW on this one. dallas and detroit will meet in the western final and the winner will go on to lift the cup. Dallas has been underestimated all season and they have both the speed and the physical game to go all the way. The first game against the Avs sucked but they'll get past the first round and keep rolling.

Ahhh the cockiness of the Western Conference. I used to be one of you. Who is the Wings goalie? Legace? Osgood? please....Dallas, they have the best chance of beating the Red Wings, but Turco has never been to a cup finals yet, actually has he even been to a conference finals as a starter? Regardless of any of this, people in the Western Conference see their conference as the be all end all, stemming from their dominance in the late 90's when Dallas, Detroit, and Colorado basically competed with each other for the cup. These days are gone forever though, there are quite a few solid teams in the East this season and when Crosby and Ovechkin hit their prime I think the balance will shift dramatically to the East. Basically what Im gettin at is dont even start to think that the Cup is already in the hands of your conference because chances are you are in for a big disappointment.....

GO DEVILS. BRODEUR FOR VEZINA/CONN SMYTH....take your pick, he's winning at least one of em....I love being a hypocrite

both of those teams are going to be out in the first round; Edmonton will beat Detroit, Colorado's gonna take Dallas.. for the cup, I think Ottawa has a legit shot...

I dont know about that but I do hope that Edmonton gets past the wings. If Dallas goes out I'm rooting for Edmonton, one of those canadian teams needs to bring the cup back north......

Wow was I wrong.

Turco playing like a siv and giving up 5 goals a game this post season, I sure am glad we locked him up through 2010.

Heres hoping the Stars make a series of it in Colorado.
