Boise State hosts Bowling Green tonight on the Deuce. 100 points might be scored tonight. Its not like the days of old when Hawaii, BYU, & SDSU were all in the league, but I love the crazy WAC games on the tube.

Next week is a huge game: Iowa vs. Ohio State.
Although I am giving OSU the edge right now between the game being at the Horseshoe and Drew Tate has played a total of about 6 quarters in the first 3 games. Plus our defense, usually the staple of Iowa Football under Ferentz, has been soft at times this year.

America's Team versus LSU in Death Valley?
Michael Ray Richardson once said "The ship be sinkin'!" Not sure if that was in regard to the Knicks of the early '80s or the Vols under Phat Fil.
My wife, prior to our engagement when she realised that she would have to become a Vol fan upon marriage stated "Does be coming a Vol fan mean getting used to losing." Out of the mouths of babes...
Go Vols! Beat LSU!

America's team??? Who gave the Vols that designation? Is it the same person that named baseball America’s pastime…More like America’s sleeping pill.
Vols at Tiger Stadium….Those LSU fans are football starved and hurricane wrecked…One thing is for sure, it will be extremely loud. The Vols might need hearing-aids after Saturday and LSU will need to buy some new goal posts again.

Which hearing aid company would provide hearing aids to the Vols? Beltone?

They will need the best...That place is louder than a jet engine at times. Showed up on the Richter scale vs Auburn in the 80's

the big east doesn't deserve a bcs bid.
those are all kinda brash, but i'll just edit my post when they end up being wrong.

Good picks Hogan. Louisville lost at USF in Tampa. (Not at WVU) That was pretty shocking to see them get pounded like that.
I will say that VT is very, very good. But the upset alert is on this weekend in Morgantown at West Va.

The BCS does not deserve a BCS big this year, BUT they will in about 2 or 3 years. Why?
West Virginia, Louisville, Pittsburg, Syracuse are all pretty legit. Not great, but getting better, not worse.
UConn- Up and coming. Will dominate Football someday because of their recruiting pull (watchted them practice during their preseason, they are an intense program).
All of these programs will continue to get better. I worry if we take away the BCS bid this year or next, they will get it back the year after that. Any ideas?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Hokies have had good FG and/or punt blocking specialists over the years.

basic theory was that Louisville was overrated (after they barely beat kensucky).
