Vanity Fair has completed a fairly in-depth article regarding the waste and corruption in Iraq. Warning: Some of this is infuriating and will make your blood boil. I still don't understand why the Republicans in Congress aren't screaming bloody murder about this?

They aren't screaming bloody murder about this because they and their Democrat colleagues are eclipsing that by stuffing "pork" into every piece of legislation they can ($13.2 billion in the Defense and Homeland Security Appropriations Acts for fiscal 2007, alone).

Here's another thing I don't understand why the Rep's aren't up in arms about. It goes against all things Rep's stand for. Except for the big business side of things.
