ya'll see this? We talked about it in one of my law classes the other day when talking about legal contracts and what it takes to contract. In short, Kid ran up a $53,000 tab a strip club celebrating graduation, and the Dad is disputing it with the credit card company (American Express I think). From what I understand (could be wrong, haven't looked into it too deep), Bars are not supposed to serve people after 4-5 drinks or if they're visibly drunk, but the club just kept serving him, asking if he'd want another drink and bringing a bottle, but he was buying for both himself and all his friends too. Dad's claiming that the Bar kept serving him, "taking advantage" of his inebriated state
Should be interesting to see how the courts rule on it.

I'm not exactly a math major, but the article said the kid bought 19 bottles of champagne ranging in price from $150 to $2000. Even if he bought 19 $2000 bottles that only adds up to $38,000. Where did the other $15,000 go?

Lap dances can be expensive, apparently.

What's the big deal here? John Daly and Michael Jordan both spend more than this tipping the cocktail waitresses at a blackjack table...

If you are going to buy bottles of champagne, you might as well drink them in the champagne room....
I've never been but I here that's what they are called - Ft. Erie was too far of a drive from Buffalo so I never crossed the border to find out.
Do you know how many $5 spaghetti lunch specials he could have bought?
