Rob,
How is Wing different from SK2 or SK3 (both are also under T-Mobile)? Will Wing work well in the rural areas? I am just thinking about its connectivity ability.
Do you slide the cover up and down? With SK2 or SK3, you would have to flip the cover.

its wi fi, and on the EDGE data network, its always accessible - it slides to the side - similar to their side kicks in the fact that it opens, but its a totally different device running windows mobile 6...I think it will work in rural areas, - much like a normal phone service, the data network is extremely fast, and it is updating to G3 in october.
and the web browser is actual web pages, not that treo stuff......i actually watched you tube clips outside this morning with my coffee just to try it out

This is for Rob Horn.
When you use text messaging, I am wondering if there is unlimited text messaging or are there different levels of plans to pay how many cents per text message? If I were to text someone, will I expect it to get out fast? That bugs me the most is seeing this symbol 7 with X over it which means it is not going through or have to wait for that "stupid" dots connecting to get to the G symbol. Does Wing have that?

you can pay for the unlimited plan at 14.95 per month, or stay with the normal 6.99 for 1000 - emails sent count towards the text messages, actually it functions just like outlook, so you dont see the "sending" note like before in the past...and its very quick because you arent just using the normal text services, but a data service as well...the really neat thing is that I can use it as my wireless signal if im at a location that I dont have a wi fi connection, I can plug my phone into my usb and it doubles as a tmobile internet card...
