Villagers did not harm the snake, which was tied to a tree then handed to wildlife officials, the paper said on Friday.

I want to know how exactly did they do this? I'd love to see a 23 foot python in a knot. Or on a leash.

Good question! I had to check out Snopes.com to make sure it is actually real, but it is since it came from Reuters and from Yahoo. That would have been nice to see that picture of that python.
