Bo Jackson = best (videogame) RB ever?

Anyone ever play Mutant League Football or Mutant League Hockey? Those were some great games. With mines and holes in the fields, you didn't just have to watch out for the other team. And I always liked breaking people literally in half when you tackled them.

Now we are onto Sega but I was a fan of both with probably Football getting the nod over Hockey.

Yes, I was a loser kid who spent too much time indoors playing videogames growing up.

The irony being that you could actually fight Tyson in real life now. I think you could get in the ring with him for about $20 and some pigeon food.

So for about the cost of the game, I can actually fight him? I prolly stand a better chance in the ring...that game was hard. The fat guy with the big stomach used to mess me up.

There are those of us that remember playing Dr. J vs. Bird on a Commodore 64, but I digress.

Dr. J vs. Larry Bird on the Apple II Plus...the offensive player used the joystick while the defensive player used the keyboard. When there was a turnover, the game would pause, and allow the players to switch inputs.

Having the guy come sweep up the glass after you broke the backboard was awesome!

He was easy make him lose his pants then swing away. I could never beat Tyson though he always bit my ear off when i was winning. Poor Mac

I never had a Nintendo so I mostly remember Punch out from the pre Tyson days back when it was an arcade game. As far as One on One with J and Bird, that was a classic game. I had the game on cassette tape, for those of you that remember that, and played on a TRS-80.

Ah yes, back in the day I played a flight simulator on the "trash 80". It took something like 10 minutes for the program to load from the cassette. I also remember programming on it in basic - yikes :shock:

I also remember using a teletype to remotely access large computers (we played a star trek like game or civil war simulation) and having to code programs onto punch cards and/or paper tape.
