Just listened to the press conference. I think TO presented his information very well. His publicist on the other hand... I'd fire her if I were TO. First, she says she is going to give a statement and comes to the podium with "Umm"s and "Ahhh"s... obviously not the most press-savy person... then she "can't remember" if she took the pills out of his mouth... even though just hours ago she admitted to it... and to top it off... the quote of the day:
"Terrell has 25 million reasons to live"
So those with money don't get depressed... don't commit suicide? He is just a paycheck to her.
Overall, I think I believe his story and if it is true, it's unfortunate it got to the point it did.

Based on the fact I know he likes to rush back after injury (see two years ago's Super Bowl with the broken foot plus claiming he would be back in two weeks after surgery to his hand), I think he just took one too many pain pills mixed in with whatever supplements he takes.
I don't believe the suicide thing one bit.

And he basically said that... said he took too many pills than he was perscribed and had an allergic reaction to it.

Agreed. People normally take 34 pain pills with no problem, and that 35th pill was just an unfortunate accident.
I'm not saying he's definitely being truthful, but if you actually listen to his press conference, he disputes the report that he took that many pills (as well as the fact that his stomach was pumped). He says that his publicist may have thought that because many of the pills were in a bag in his drawer and when she didn't see them there, she assumed he had taken that many.

Now starring as "The Straw That Broke The Camels Back", the 35th pill!
Look, he can only look good out of this because he was put upon by the media and everyone wants him to fail. He is now an underdog, a comeback kid. In this country today, no one wants to look at the facts, like he brought all this attention upon himself (read: pumping iron in his drive way, riding an exercycle in a Team Discovery outfit). He is yet again going to play the victim. Go away, Terrell! Get help or whatever you need, just stop doing it on everyone elses time.

Monday night at the Phillies/Astros game, there were guys in the parking lot selling anti-Dallas shirts. One of the first guys that came up to us had shirts that said, "Dallas sucks & T.O. Swallows".
I guess it rings true after yesterday. I also wish T.O. would just go away.

king of smartassness strikes again....
Stop the TO Bashing....My opninion...no attempt at suicide, just the media getting caught up in the TO MADNESS.....
I like TO....I like his attitude, his perserverance and his talent...no one can question his abilities or work ethic....and when he is on the field, he is by far usually the best player on it.....
Take this into consideration....In Philly when he broke his leg, he was out for "roughly" 2 1/2 months before the Superbowl.....never practiced, never worked out, simply rehabbed himself to get to that level again...Keep in mind that he went against his doctor's orders, and team doctors orders to play...now does this sound like an individual that doesn't care about his teammates, and is only concerned about himself???? Also keep in mind, he caught 10 balls for about 130 + in yardage and really should have been the MVP of the game, because no one could cover him/shut him down the entire game - using his off the field antics is a such a way to jump on the bash TO bandwagon...lots of players have off the field issues and antics...we bash TO for his behavior, yet we celebrate Giambi for coming back from steroids, (or more importantly we will cheer when Barry breaks the record) , we cheered Michael and Deion in the Dallas White House (if you don't know look it up), ..and we let LT smoke crack and still be in the HOF...Kobe can be a rapist and we still want him to be the posterboy for USA Basketball.....as sport fans, we are all hypocrites, we love it when our guys do great, but get mad when they "Sh%& the bed"...
