Google has the profile of Sherlock Holmes made famous by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle who was born on May 22, 1859. That means he would have been 147 years old today.

Where was the celebration of Malcom X on 19 May? Should be a national holiday.

Sherlock Holmes is a ficitonal character. What is next, the celebration of Dr. Robert Langdon's B-Day?

If you are ever in London, check out the Baker Street Station on the Metropolitan Line. The station has portions that have been maintain that are the original construction. Facinating.

If I remember the flat address it is 221B Baker Street. When I was in London it was a museum. I had blast, but I was also 11.

I understand that the TV series called "House, MD" where Dr. Gregory House's apartment number is 221. I read that the person who created this program from IMDb stated that he is a big fan of Sherlock Holmes, so his character, Dr. Gregory House would use the methods used by the fictional Holmes. The person he works with is Dr. Wilson "patterned" after Watson. In real life, Hugh Laurie (Dr. House) whose dad is an actual doctor.

My mother got a me a book of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's father's artwork and scribblings. Most of these are from the time when he was in an asylum. they are pretty far out there. One of my favorite drawings is a giant squirrel holding a baby.
