Non-iPod Mp3 Player Help

I've had the same Dell MP3 for two years now and its handled 100 degree weeks in by black car, a month frozen outside in January when I left my car in StL, and I must to drop that thing three times a day. Its not so pretty anymore but still works like the day I bought it. Not expensive either.
