I guess the MLB pension just doesn't cut it. Or maybe it does and the local bungee jumping place was closed (pun intended). Reardon had to get out and find his kicks some place else, medication be damned. Might not have been armed robbery had he tried to hold the place up with fastballs. Then again at his age, I can see why he used a gun.
