I thought you guys might enjoy this. Just like we said in the earlier comments, it looks like schools with approval may pass the appeal process.

How do you think this will affect schools with a more generic name, such as Braves? Will they pass the litmus test if they get the support of a local tribe? Hmmm...

Not exactly. They can appeal the ruling which prevents them from using the Nickname in NCAA-sponsored championships. Doesn't mean they can't continue to use the nickname.
