What's really amazing is that they had the Michigan HS B-ball finals on Saturday, and a player did the same thing to win his game! Threw up a three from on the floor in the corner as time was expiring and it went in - was fouled in the process and made the FT to pull out a win for his team by 3. I wish I could find a video link. It's unbelieveable that two of these happened the same day!

I'd have to say he was traveling.

I don't want to watch a Hyundai commercial again, so I won't replay it, but.... if he wasn't moving , his rearend would be his pivot, and I don't think we was moving when he gained possession of the ball..... So no traveling and.... It's GOOD! :D

That same kid also put in a shot from 4-5 feet beyond the Pro 3 point arc to put it into the first overtime. Then hit this to get to the second overtime.

I know the Texas Tech Men's basketball team routinely practices this shot during the off-season... gotta keep all angles covered when you're playing under Bobby Knight ... :D

I graduated from Hopkins, the team that made that shot, and that shot tied the game to send it into double overtime, where Hopkins won by 13. It was one of the most amazing basketball games I have ever watched, Hopkins led by 18 at one point in the second half. Eastview came back to tie it, and then in overtime, the same player, who made the shot from his back made a 3 at the end of the first overtime to tie the game with around 3 seconds left, to send it to double OT.

did anyone see the finish to the Vanderbilt NIT game last night. It was bleeping insane.

Wichita state was down 3 got fouled with :03 left. Guy hits the first, intentionally bounces the 2nd off teh back iron to a teammate who tips it in. They go ape-s. :00.7 left now.

Vandy calls time out, inbounder runs the baseline, gets a great screen, heaves it the length of the court to a somehow unguarded player who lays it in for the win.

The kid just won an Espy for it. Still isn't better than the 90 footer or that kid jumping over the fence from Witchita State.
