March 2005: The Orange Show Foundation has landed a $125,000 Houston Endowment grant to repair and restore the Beer Can home of John Milkovisch
if they go with keystone light 30 packs($12.99 each), they could turn that house into quite a mansion. I wonder if the specially lined cans have a greater R-value?

I think this is worthy of a motorcycle trip to Houston.
I've only ridden it there once - when we played UofH but I survived the traffic on 45, 610, and 59. They didn't kill me that time so maybe I'll head down there Saturday if the weather holds and we'll do Death Ride Part Deux.

Hopefully, the water would have receded by now. Saw reports on TV last night that there were about 30 rescues for those trapped by rising water on streets in Houston.
