Have there been any bad injuries in any games. I know top attackmen for UMD Pete Nelson broke his foot in the last quarter vs. Sonoma.
Has any other team suffered?

Someone said in another thread UCSB is suffering from injuries... I don't really know just thought I caught that little quip. Not sure if it's from/during the tournament or from previous stuff.

Heard a rumor yesterday that one of the Dayton players broke BOTH wrists in their first round game against UC-Irvine. I forgot to ask their coach about him after our game yesterday but I can't imagine that being fun...

A scare at the UNC/SW game. The UNC goalie was immobilized and taken off by ambulance on a stretcher, helmut on, for x-rays due to a next injury. Later heard he was OK, in a neck brace......

This picture is the courtesy of Kotarski (sheepishly not sure of his last exact last name) with Southwestern University.

Glad that Grant is ok - but at least he's got a cool picture to immortalize it.
