We will be doing a live radio broadcast of the two Division A Semifinals, inside the main stadium at Pizza Hut Park, this Friday!




Air time is 4:45pm Central on Friday afternooon for BYU vs. UCSB. Air time for the 2nd semifinal between Colorado State & Oregon is 7:45pm Central.

Just to get everyone some help with connecting, and hopefully not sound too pedantic, make sure you have the right URL for your media player.

Just got a tour of the field and the press box inside the main stadium.

BROADCAST NOTES:

We had approx. 425 unique listeners to the Duluth/Sonoma game on Tuesday night with approx. 300 listeners last night to the CSU/Arizona State quarterfinal.

The audio quality of Friday and Saturday's broadcasts will be much better as we are able to use some of the professional microphones and equipment inside Pizza Hut Park's main stadium.

Just like last year's final game between CSU and Colorado - We will get high quality field level audio mixed into our radio broadcast. I'm sure you will enjoy hearing the chatter on the field during the radio broadcast and it will make for an even better sounding "radio" product.

Hope for close competitive games and also hope that Ken Lovic and I do the games justice.

Radio Engineer Chris Sakaguchi will be monitoring this thread all night long. So feel free to chime in with your comments about the quality of the audio, microphone levels, etc.

How did we sound folks? Could you hear the audio (whistles, etc.) from the field OK? Was the mike levels between me and Ken OK?

Mike levels were fine, although you faded out from time to time. Could not hear much of the field level stuff at all.

i can not open up any of the broadcasts...... are the feeds up for a little pre-game before CSU and UO start playing?
