It's early, but it looks good for next Tuesday at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco:

After looking at the forecast for Frisco and seeing thunderstorms possible for Tues through Friday, just curious what happens if games get delayed/postponed due to lightning? Can anyone fill me in?

Cry me a river. Wow, it will be warm for 5 days in a row in Minnesota. The next 5 days it may be -196.

I hope it pours rain the entire tourney. then we will see who can tough it out. i love when there is a rainy game and teams that lose blame it on the rain. shut up, the rain doesnt effect/affect (i dont know) sticks as much as everyone thinks. i think a rainy day or two would shake things u a bit. lets just hope the lightning stays away!!!

I HATE playing in the rain!!! and its even worse to watch games in the rain. And yes, your stick does get messed up in the rain... While I also hate when people use the weather as an excuse (whether or should i say weather haha it be hot, cold, rain or snow) cause both teams have to deal with it, it does make the games a lot less fun to watch. They just get sloppy. I'd much rather watch a sharp game of lacrosse than one where people are slipping everywhere, the ball is on the ground all the time, and people are just head hunting while the ball is on the ground. Yeah you get more checks but the game looks so much sloppier.

It's perfect weather here right now mid 70s just like the night of the championship game last year. It's hard to tell what were going to get next week but at least the ground on the grass fields will not be rock hard like last year. Hopefully there will just be a couple of cloudy days with no rain which is quite possible. A side from the featured game how was it decided which games were on turf and which ones are on grass

Games will be decided by a combination of media and staff input. Higher profile games will end up on the turf, they have more stands for viewers and the press box. Past that, we will try to rotate teams so they aren't on the same surface/field every game.

Thanks, sounds like a good way to do it and a common sense approach. Can't wait for it to all get started.
