Looks like a solid field. Those matchups after the top 3 could be very competitive.

i think youll be surprised that all of the matchups could be good... just a thought... ive seen alot of these teams play, and there is hardly any difference between the top 3 and the bottom 3

The fields in Frisco are much nicer and with all the rain we've had will be much softer this year. I still think the heat could be an x-factor if we have two or more days in a row of heat like day 1 last year. I watched the Arizona v. Oregon game last year and I think it played a part in the outcome at the end of the game. Even if a team wins, if it's a knock down drag out game in the heat it could prove costly in their next game. If the heat comes into play Depth will be another big x-factor.
CU v. ASU should be a classic game if both teams bring their A game. Kind of like the Spurs v. Suns in basketball. It will be put up or shut up for UMD v. Sonoma State. Are there any games where the two teams have already played each other?

Yes CU played them in Arizona and beat them. I think it was 9-8 or something like that. and waht if CU and CSU play again...that would be a fight with CU playing them so close last game

Yep either way it will get interesting very quickly just like last year. CSU v. Arizona was a great hard hitting second round game.

Yes they beat them two weeks ago 13-5. The game Friday 8-6 was in the rain which may have been a factor in the score.

I think I like BYU's draw the best. Especially considering CSU and Oregon are on the other side of the bracket. No disrespect to A&M but BYU should be able to get by them. Then they could potentially face a team in UofA (if they get by BC) that they handled rather easily early in the ear, and then there is a good chance they play Michigan or UCSB, both of who did not match up well against BYU in the regular season.

I'm really looking forward to a potential CSU/Oregon rematch. That could be very interesting.

Any other thoughts on who has a favorable draw?
