The redesigned MCLA National Tournament website is now up and running. I think you will all find it a vast improvement from what was there before.
Information will continually be added to the website, but right now, you can find a list of hotels and prices for booking travel arrangements, ticket information, a map of Pizza Hut Park, and loads of other things.
If you have suggestions or ideas for info that should be added to the site, please post them here and we'll see what we can do.

Check it out and pass the word!
ALSO - I still have some spots open on the tournament staff. If you are a coach or former player involved with the MCLA and want to participate, please get in touch with me ASAP!

Incredible stuff. Fantastic site. Can't say enough.
get your tickets now kids. When your grands kids are making plans to see the Colorado/Syracuse national championship at the Rose Bowl 50 years from now, you will be able to tell them all about when the MCLA went big time in 2007 at Pizza Hut Park.

I am in total agreement. Now this website reflects what we have all been striving for, and what I envision the tournament to look like in my head. Sonny's right... this is the year we go big-time. A new benchmark is being set in all facets of the tournament, couple that with the "anybody can win it all" competition we have seen this year, it will be a truly amazing week.

I officially rescind my complaint against the Championship site.
Oh and anarchy on collegelax.us can only be achieved through a 2/3 vote of Jumbo, Gobbler and The Lax. Of course their vote can be overturned by any one member of the collegelax.us media crew of 2006, namely myself, Oaks and Mandible. The supreme commander may issue marshal law at any time that he feels necessary....
Of sorry, I thought I was writing about the UN.

Brackets
March Madness is not the only place to see brackets. Take a look at the updated site.

Re: Brackets
This looks great, but times for these games and the bracket layouts have been changed. I'll talk with Larry about getting the correct info up here asap.

Any chance of keeping the Div B schedule the same as last year?
The Wed/Thur/Fri/Sat schedule without the day off really isn't theoretically as taxing as the Div A. If the poll is correct, teams would only be playing for 3 straight days, not the 4 that justifies the Thursday break for Div A.
I question if the day off is worth the extra $1000(+?) for hotels and vehicles for all 12 of the Div B teams.
If it is scheduled like this to prepare teams for the expansion to 16 teams for next year, that's all that needs to be said.

I believe that part of the schedule has been set for a while now (i.e. Div. B starting on Tuesday). Doubt it will be changed at this 11th hour.

The B schedule begins on Tuesday with an off-day Thursday. The overwhelming feedback we heard was that B wanted this schedule, so that's we went to. Sonny is right. The time to bring up suggestions is in the summer. This schedule has been set for months and cannot be changed now.
