since they are gone i think that we can expect all the teams that were in the top ten to move up two spots. i dont think that there are other team that will jump any of the remaining top ten from last year in the preseason poll

I'd actually expect a few teams to leap frog a bit. The tournament was pretty telling of teams abilities (at least the first few days of the B).

look for unc to turn some heads really early in the season, we have the most talent and numbers in the history of unc!

i like GVSU and Harding to have good years.......... I know Harding is in the Top 10 already, but they may have the squad this year to be an elite team at the nationaly tourny, assuming they can get there

You know, I always think this is such a tricky question in division B. Almost every team could have a break through season with the addition of 1 to 2 very good players. Not only a break out kind of year, but a program changing type of season. If a team adds a solid freshmen class with 4 impact players, they can win their division. Especially if the team has consistent coaching, which can be the Achilles heal of division B. Rarely do you see a coaching battle on the sidelines of a division b game.

I expect Biola to crack that top 10 pretty fast this year. They look like a completely different squad who worked hard this off season, and the WCLL should still send two teams to Texas.

As for preseason #1, I think UVSC has the talent and consistent B division history to take the spot. That is unless Im mixed up and St. Johns didnt move to A. I must admit I havent followed the off season moves especially closely.

I'm not going to say anything about who should be first place because the spring league is way too far away still to choose who is going to take which place. But I was wondering though if those people that UVSC lost for the national tourney were any returners for this year? Because it seemed they lost quite a few impact players for the tourney. Also, St. John's did not move to A.

I can think of a program that is likely to leapfrog to the top. Mason Goodhand's new program, Westminster.

Supposedly. Westmister has the facilities and the $ to make something like that happen for the team but I don't forsee a jump to the NCAA ranks for a few years. All of their other intercolleigate teams compete in the NAIA so I don't think they even have ties to the NCAA as a school. Various other schools oin the NAIA compete in the MCLA...
