The 2013 tournament returns to Greenville, SC this May.

B Division National Championship

Given the current leaders in each conference, and the latest poll, here is an example of how the seedings would be if the tournament started today-

#1- San Diego
#2- Utah Valley State
#3- St. John's University
#4- Appalachian State
#5- Montana
#6- Creighten
#7- Indiana University- PA
#8- Southwestern

Therefore, our first round games would be-

#1- San Diego
vs.
#8- Southwestern

#4- Appalachian State
vs.
#5- Montana

#3- St. John's University
vs.
#6- Creighten

#2- Utah Valley State
vs.
#7- Indiana University- PA

DO NOT FORGET-

There are still numerous big games to be played...

The PNCLL has several strong teams that could nip Montana in the play-offs and change the entire ranking.

The UMLL has St. Thomas, who could avenge their loss to St. John's and slip in to the tournament.

The LSA has Texas-Arlington, who could also win the LSA.

The CCLA has Calvin College and Ferris State, both of whom are threats to win their league.

The GRLC and SELC have log jams at the top, with many teams that could take the tournament championship.

The RMLC has Montana State, who are doing very well and have not played UVSC in the regular season.

The WCLL looks like San Diego (by virtue of their big win over Claremont) has a lock on the top spot in Blaine.

Needless to say, everything could get changed in an instant. It will be very interesting in the coming weeks to see who takes the conference championships and ends up in Blaine.

Any thoughts?

Creighton is #11 in the poll but will be the 3 seed in the GRLC Tournament - just goes to show that the GRLC will be a mess with anyone having a chance to win

in response to your question ktrost...

i don't think anyone at calvin is making any excuses for the performance this year. very simply, the ccla is up incredibly from the past years. IUP is a very solid team top to bottom with a lot of their kids coming from the eastern PA area, Grove City has been another solid addition and teams like Ball St., Taylor, Grand Valley and Ferris State have all stepped up impressively. I think things will be very competitive at the conference tournament this year. honestly I'd give odds to calvin or iup to win it, with either being deserving of going to blaine.
i also think that the polls have become much more accurate as the season has gone on, and as a member of calvin's team, i have to say i was not suprised, upset or 'outraged' in any way to see our ranking go down - it's more accurate, and as much as i'd like to be high in the polls, i'd much rather the poll be accurate. we'd love to make it to blaine and catch uvsc in a game...in fact, getting there and playing anyone would be great.
In sum, to be completely honest, i'd say calvin was overrated going into the season (being ranked only on history, which is all anyone had), and we've been able to see a much more accurate picture of ourselves and everyone nationally as the season's gone on. good luck the rest of your season uvsc, must say i don't envy the conference tourney you've got out there, hope to see you in blaine

I honestly do think that Calvin will end up at nationals, I just wouldn't seem right without you guys there. Not that i know any of you, or have ever seen you play, but I've looked forward to playing your team for the entire year. good luck guys and see you at nationals...
